ATL sneaker lovers and people from other states enjoyed were on the scene. The Clipse and Mr. Bigg Time performed, and some other people we’ve never heard of. Sole Munki skate team along with other skaters did a demo, and several artist were on hand doing live installations. It was nice seeing fellow A-Town sneakerheads, and shout out to all the people I met. Overall the event was dope, but I’ll literally let the pics do the talking. Its always interesting to see what the trend setting artist SBTG and Methamphibian are doing with their sneaker customizations. Here is there latest creation, the Skulls of Saigon series which at this point is focusing on sneakers however the two artist are hinting at expanding the concept on to other unknown areas. The pack includes two kicks, a Nike Dunk High “Psychoholic Slage” inspired by the White Zombie song and a Nike Dunk Low “Pestilence” inspired by the Metallica song “The Four Horsemen”. According to the artists “we took this step forward and just had fun with it” talking about their departure from their monotone serious style. Although there is are some new elements in their design they maintain the dark and edgy look or their former work.
